Dogfest is our annual summer festival in support of Petpals GC — and we’re ready for this year!
Now in it's 6th year!
Dogfest brings together dog lovers, families, supporters and the local community for a brilliant dog-friendly day out, all while raising vital funds for dogs rescued from abuse and neglect.
For Dogfest 2026, we’re bringing back everything you love:

Location: Charlie Bears Dog Play Park, Barnsley
What's On?
Join us for a full day of family fun, including:
- Dog show with tail-wagging categories
- Doggie photographer for the perfect pup photo
- Stalls and exclusive merchandise
- Tea and coffee available
- Toilets on site
- A fun day out for the whole family
- Dogs very welcome — obviously!
You’re also welcome to bring your own snacks, flasks, drinks, dogs, smiles and good vibes.
Supporting rescue dogs
All proceeds from Dogfest 2026 go directly to Petpals GC, helping dogs rescued from abuse, neglect and difficult situations get the care, safety and second chance they deserve.
